Emergency Response

Ever since its creation, HAI has always been on the forefront to respond to emergency situations in Pakistan. It has contributed significantly not only in the realms of rescue and relief but also in rehabilitation. The first major activity it under took in this regard was in 2005 when a devastating earthquake resulted into colossal men and material losses in various part of Pakistan and AJK. The HAI-Pak is among those few organizations which earned UN recognition for their stupendous services to deal with the after effects of the earthquake.

Programme Objectives

To build organizational capacity, procedure, early-warning-systems; to respond any disaster within 24hrs of the onset Humanitarian Programmes covering following thematic areas;

    Baluchistan Cyclone/ Flood Emergency Response In the wake of devastating Cyclone and floods in Ziarat Baluchistan, HAI-Pak carried out emergency relief operation to help the affected families in the targeted area.
