Winter Support to the Marginalized families of the District Faisalabad

During the Winter poorest families struggle hard to combat with its harshness. On one hand they struggle to ensure the food at home and secondly they have to bear the extra cost of wood to make their homes warm during the season. Poor families are mainly dependent on charity or second hand things to meet their needs to keep themselves warm. Children in these areas put on 2-3 clothes to keep themselves warm however, freezing temperature makes it more hard. Therefore, Human Appeal through its winter kits distribution has enabled 338 families (900+ children & mothers) in Faisalabad not only to have warm clothing & bedding but has also protected them from possible diseases and resulting health expenditures. These winter kits included warm sweaters for children & mothers, caps, shawls, gloves, mufflers, a family size quilt & set of four bed-throws.
