Community sensitization on environmental issues

Pakistan is amongst those countries which are faced with serious environmental challenges at the moment. Well conscious of the situation, the HAI-Pak runs a full-fledged program to tackle this issue effectively. To begin with, it has installed 11 bio-gas projects at different places such as Thatta, Rahim Yar Khan and Samani. In addition to meeting the immediate needs of the beneficiaries, the plants are environment friendly and play a great role in halting the process of deforestation in AJK and KPK in particular.

The HAI-Pak has also organizes different programs on regular basis to create awareness in public about the need to protect environment. Apart from people at large, these programs are also attended by subject experts and state officials to discuss the issue from various standpoints.
